Just Like That

Different Post Categories on eWebBuddy

hey friends, my health had taken a toll on me last week and was stuck on bed with high fever and even higher body ache. But now all’s cool and I am back in action.

Been wondering what to post when I realized that, my posts here on eWebBuddy.com is generally restricted to certain categories but I am not sure if everyone is aware of what those categories are. Also, someone new who drops by my blog will have a tough time realizing what the blog is actually about?! That filled me with a sense of guilt of not being able to put up a ‘about’ page yet for the blog, been too lazy lately. So here I will be making changes to make the blog clearer in its objective and essence.

To kick-start the process, eWebBuddy currently has posts sewed together with the help of the following categories:

1. Buddy News – Currently this one houses most of the post here. And as the name states its mainly NEWS updates of the technical advancements on various gadgets, platforms and OS along with random things happening in the world wide web! In short – Anything new that I feel you guys should know about.

This category has a sub-category, ‘I 4 India‘ which deals with NEWS mainly related to India and Indians.

2. Buddy Inspiration – This is one of my favorite categories wherein I post anything that I come across even remotely inspirational. Somehow I feel, one needs to keep on doing something new and tends to drain out of ideas, patience or even strength. This is the period when one needs to be inspired and motivated to think different, do different and take failure as steps towards success.

3. Art of Design – As some of you must be aware that I am a part-time freelance web designer, I read a lot of design related blogs, articles. Though this blog is not so focused on design as of now, all posts related to the field and aimed to the general readers who may not be in the field otherwise go here.

4. Buddy Contest – Hope all of you remember the 1st contest we has a few weeks ago along with Invoicera. eWebBuddy will be hosting more contests in future, so keep a tab on this category. If you are interested in sponsoring a contest, contact me.

5. Buddy Resource – Downloads, freebies, cool stuff for you. Anything that I find useful and usable for all my buddies out there, go under this.

6. Buddy Waaassup? – The Buddy News though is there for all the news but there are many things and events happening online which cause raves, waves and ripples. All that action and popular stuff go here. Nothing even remotely boring allowed, but isn’t that true for the whole blow?! 🙂

7. Just Like That – Its about things I post which do not go under any of the above categories.  But I cant stop myself posting it just because it does not fit under any of the above categories. ‘Just Like That’. Why stick to boundaries. 😉

Apart from the above mentioned categories, there’s another category under which you will be getting frequent posts soon. The category is:

8. Buddy Query – This one is keeping in mind the blog’s essence and its main focus. eWebBuddy want to focus on helping people understand techie stuff which may seem simple to me but actually isn’t so for many. So this category will focus on answering simple queries about stuffs in and around internet. I hope you guys love it once it starts rolling!

So that’s it, do give me your feedback and post comments. Say it aloud, whatever is on your mind!

  1. I wasn’t going to comment as this post was written a while ago, but I found myself asking a lot of questions when I read it. I think it is important to find the blogs that you read regularly and stay involved in the discussion in a regular, relevant and timely manner. So I’ll be back and see whether you’ll be answering :o).
